Group excursion to the glacier foreland
There are few glacier forelands as easily accessible in the Alps as at the UNESCO-protected Lang Glacier behind Fafleralp.
On a guided tour, you can walk through the diverse vegetation stages of the glacier foreland from Fafleralp to the glacier terminus of the Lang Glacier.

Start at 10.45 hours and finish at around 15.00 hours at the Fafleralp car park.
Minimum 6 people.
This easy walk is also suitable for “non-athletes” and children from the age of 7.
The walking time is 3.5 hours. During the walk, there are repeated stops with explanations of the richly diverse vegetation of the meadow region, the various vegetation stages, information on the glacier, etc.
Weatherproof clothing, sun screen, walking shoes, food and drink must be brought along by the participants.
At the glacier terminus, a welcome drink with glacier water (absinthe) awaits you.
