Lake Thun and the mountains present themselves from their most beautiful side on the Panorama circular trail. Sigriswil panorama bridge
The Sigriswil panorama bridge is both the longest (340 metres) and tallest (180 metres) of the bridges. It connects the villages of Sigriswil and Aeschlen and spares its users the descent into the gorge and the ascent on the other side. The former route through the Gummi gorge (Guntenbachschlucht) remains open. The historic route will now become a themed trail (nature, forest, Nagelfluh, gorge, water). You can learn about sights to see in the region at the recently opened information point at the Sigriswil panorama bridge.
Suspension bridge over Spissibach
The suspension bridge over Spissibach at Leissigen is almost 60 metres high above Spissibach and 142 metres long. Crossing the bridge on a hike from Leissigen or Krattigen via Meielisalp is an experience for both old and young. The bridge is accessible in both summer and winter (snow shoes are available at Hotel Meielisalp).
At Meielisalp you can enjoy stunning views of Lake Thun, a great atmosphere and excellent hospitality. There is also a mini golf course and a children’s play area at the restaurant.
