Hiking train Biel–Brig
Without changing trains to the Bernese Oberland
From 10 June 2023, you can travel quickly, comfortably and inexpensively to the most beautiful hiking areas in the Bernese Oberland and the Valais with our hiking train at the weekend. Departure from Biel is always at 07.34 (except Saturdays from 16 September to 14 October 2023, when it will be at 08.06). In the evening, the hiking train from Brig also takes you back home. Departure from Brig is always at 15:59 (exception from 23 July to 22 October, then only at 16:02). You can find detailed timetables in the online timetable.

On the weekends of 30.9./1.10. and 7./8.10. the hiking train will run to and from Lyss.
Travel for the lowest fares with the supersaver ticket
If you know in advance where you want to travel, you should definitely buy your ticket as early as possible. This is because the earlier you buy a ticket, the greater the chance of getting your hands on a supersaver ticket offering a discount of up to 70%. Supersaver tickets are available exclusively online and can be purchased no earlier than 60 days in advance of your desired date of travel. Where possible, choose connections outside of the peak times.
