Tschentenalp – a leisurely hike amid floral diversity and panoramic views

This varied route (5.4 km, approx. 2 hours 10 minutes) starts in the village of Adelboden and winds its way through the Höreli Alpine botanical garden. Through forests and meadows, it climbs up to Tschentenalp at 1,950 meters. There, the sun terrace of the mountain restaurant invites you to linger with regional specialties and sweeping views of the valleys. If you still haven't had enough, hike on to Schwandfeldspitz (plus 40 min.) and you will be rewarded with a magnificent panorama.

Travel comfortably by train to Frutigen. From the railway station, the AFA bus will take you to the stop «Adelboden, Post». The Tschentenalp valley station is located in the center of Adelboden.
