Enjoy cross-country skiing day and night

The network of cross-country ski trails between Langnau i. E. and Trub stretches across 18 kilometres (not interconnected). With the use of a snow groomer, a trail is groomed for both classic and skating-based cross-country skiing. The floodlights illuminate the (2.5 km) cross-country ski trail between Längengrund and Trub until 21.15 hours, ensuring that even night owls can enjoy their sport.

Travel comfortably and directly by train from Bern, Lucerne and Burgdorf to Langnau i. E. and continue with bus no. 285 to "Bärau, Schwimmbad".

Cross-country ski rental

A wide range of cross-country skiing equipment and snowshoes is available for hire. The rental shop is located in the cross-country ski center near the former Sternen country inn (Sägegasse 7) in Trub.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Equipment must be returned by 4:00 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Equipment must be returned by 4:00 p.m.

As the rental service is not always staffed during opening hours, please check the website for the latest opening hours or call us in advance (079 177 73 16).

Please note that goods can be purchased with cash or Twint.
