World Nature Forum – the most modern museum in the Alps located in Naters. Just a five-minute walk from Brig railway station.
The World Nature Forum awakens the spirit of exploration in both young and old with exciting films, interactive experience stations, and state-of-the-art technology. The exhibition delves into the processes of the formation and transformation of the Alps, as well as the climatic challenges, fascinating explorers of all ages.
From Bern, you can reach Naters by public transport in less than 75 minutes.
Highlights
No one too small to be an explorer
The visitor centre of the Unesco World Heritage Site Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch is an exciting destination for all ages. The varied exhibits encourage visitors to interact and convey 824 square kilometres of World Heritage on two floors.
Diversity – in the area as well as in the exhibition
In addition to the digital sandbox, Unescopedia and the table debate, the highlights include a Jungfrau Railway Ambassador carriage, a gondola for the "Voice of World Heritage" dialect experience and a diverse flora and fauna landscape. In addition, there are goosebump moments in the Panorama Cinema, which transports guests to the unique natural landscape of the World Heritage Site with three fascinating films.
Experience World Heritage
With the help of a cross-area POI system, visitors can collect their interests and have tips and hiking suggestions presented for their favourite excursion destinations. Our heritage's Points of Interest (POI) also include numerous destinations and hiking trails along the BLS mountain route. The journey with the BLS therefore already offers a World Heritage experience.

Guest cards from the Aletsch Arena, Belalp, Bellwald, Binntal, and Lötschental regions also entitle visitors to free entry. The WNF offers a discount with the Guest card Oberwallis, as well as with an AHV or IV card.

BLS suggestion
Combine your excursion to the WNF Visitor Centre with a short hike in the Unesco World Heritage Site Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch. Take advantage of the unique hiking trails along the BLS mountain route for an excursion on the south ramp.

Suitable for children from the age of 3. The numerous ball tracks not only encourage playful learning and exploration of the exhibition, but are also just plain fun.

At the Jungfrau-Aletsch Restaurant, located on the ground floor of the World Nature Forum, you have the opportunity to indulge yourself before, during, or after your museum visit.

From Tuesday to Friday, a freshly prepared daily special is offered.
For 22 Swiss Francs, you'll get an appetizer, a main course, and a non-alcoholic beverage.
Sunday brunch
On Sundays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, chef and owner Remo Jossen serves a hearty brunch featuring exquisite local delicacies from Valais.
