From May 14 through October 18, 2026, the Weekend Hiking Train takes you comfortably from Solothurn to Zweisimmen on weekends and holidays – directly and without transfers. This way, your trip to the Bernese Oberland begins the moment you set out.
From 14 May to 18 October 2026, our hiking trains will be running between Solothurn and Zweisimmen on weekends and public holidays. A direct train to Zweisimmen will depart every morning from all stations between Solothurn–Burgdorf–Konolfingen and Thun.
