Tickets for large-capacity vehicles
Kandersteg–Goppenstein
Tickets for minibuses with up to 22 seats, mobile homes over 5 t and lorries over 3.5 t can be obtained exclusively at the loading stations in Kandersteg and Goppenstein.
The transport of vehicles with a large load profile is only possible between Kandersteg and Goppenstein. Large-capacity vehicles are not permitted between Brig and Iselle.

Prices are per vehicle and for a one-way ticket between Kandersteg and Goppenstein, including passengers and VAT.
For the determination of the vehicle category, the entry in the vehicle registration document is decisive. With respect to weight-dependent categories, the tare weight and the weight according to the freight papers applies. These must be presented when getting ready for travel. Every incomplete tonne is rounded up.
* Weight restriction of 20 tonnes for access to the Kandersteg car transport service
Two bridges after the Kandersteg exit in the direction of the car transport no longer meet the current, stricter standards, which is why a weight restriction of 20 tonnes has been introduced since 25.10.2023. In exceptional cases, vehicles over 20 tonnes can access and leave the Kandersteg car transport via the subway (height restriction, 3.40m) BLS workshop via Risetistrasse.
