Travel in comfort with the BLS to «Trubschachen» and continue by bus to «Trub, Löwenplatz».
Route description
The hike starts from the village of Trub and follows the River Trueb and the Fankhusbach stream. In Fankhaus, you leave the rush of the stream behind and follow the existing hiking trail to the left as far as Lenn. The path now branches off to the right and climbs to Buechi and on over the ridge via Höstulle to Grüebli. From here, you head steeply uphill one last time around Schlegelgrabe up to Napf. Then follows the roughly hour-long descent to Mettlenalp.

Return journey from «Mettlenalp (Napf)» by bus 284 (BLS hiking bus). Please note that there is only one bus connection in the afternoon for the return journey.
The normal public transport fares apply to the BLS Hiking Bus.

Also possible as a two-day hike from Friday to Saturday or Saturday to Sunday in combination with the Wooden Bridge Trail Trub path section–Langnau i. E. walk. Overnight stay at the Landgasthof Löwen country hotel.
