Travel comfortably by train to Bern and continue by tram to the "Helvetiaplatz" stop. From there you can reach the museum on foot after about 300 metres.
Temporary exhibition
Temporary exhibition «MASSEN – FOULES – CROWDS»
12 December 2025 – 19 July 2026
Suddenly, a person is no longer just a solitary individual. A throng forms at a bottleneck, a sea of spectators gather to cheer on their teams at a football match. What happens when we become part of a crowd? This exhibition aims to deconstruct the negative image of crowds from different points of view. Discover the restricting, liberating and surprising effect of being one of many.
Designed and staged by Cité des sciences et de l’industrie.
The Museum
The Museum of Communication is full of things to try out and stories to discover. Why is there a burnt-out mail robbery car? Who makes the funniest video with Film Karaoke? In addition to playful stations, surprising objects and large video screens, real people are also here to convey the fascination around the world of communication. They think up new activities and games every day. So it certainly won't be boring here.
In 2019, the Museum of Communication received the coveted Council of Europe Museum Prize.
The unique hosts inside the museum's exhibitions have tips for everyone – from 2-3 year old toddlers, to teenagers, to grandmothers. Give in to temptation and visit!
Suitable for children 3 years of age and over
The Museum of Communication is ideal for children. Here the little ones are allowed to touch things, try them out and solve puzzles. There is a separate tour of the museum as an activity for children between 4 and 8 years old. Ratatösk the squirrel takes the children into his world of communication and shows them amusing games. A tour of discovery for curious girls and boys.
