Exploring Kandersteg on the “Höh Tour” snowshoe trail
Would you like to try out something new and explore Kandersteg in snowshoes? Then set out on the “Höh Tour” – under your own steam.
This circular trail starts out along the River Kander towards the weir/Bern. Now the trail ascends into the Höhwald forest. After climbing 140 metres, you can – if you so wish – divert to the Risetenegg vantage point. Here a splendid view out onto the entire village of Kandersteg and the Blümlisalp massif awaits you. Now follows the short descent back into the village. You leave the Höhwald behind and eventually return towards the train station.
From mid-December to the end of March, in accordance with the current snow report.Subject to change without prior notice
