Walking to the Lüderenalp mountain viewpoint
Eriswil–Ahorn–Oberi Lushütte–Lüderenalp (18.3 km, 5 hours 50 mins)
You start this hike from the village centre of Eriswil. The trail climbs steadily up via the Bettler Alp to the viewing platform on the Ahorn. From there, take the Napfbergland Border Trail and hike over the high ground north of the Hornbachgraben up to Oberi Lushütte. The trail then takes you past the Geissgratflue and via Blutteriedschwand up to Lüderenalp. The walk is now newly suitable for a two-day tour.

Buses are available from the bus stop “Lüderenalp” exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as public holidays, from 4 May to 27 October 2019.

Getting there and back
Take the train to Huttwil, and from there ride the bus no. 491 (BLS hiking bus) to the stop “Eriswil, Station”. Return journey: take the bus no. 285 (BLS hiking bus) from “Lüderenalp”.
Shortened walk with the Ahorn bus: Huttwil–Ahornalp, Sat/Sun 6.05.–29.10.2017. The bus is only available on advance booking no later than 18.00 hours the day before (tel. +41 62 962 55 05).
