Visitors can play their way around Burgdorf with the help of more than 25 game locations.
There are more than 25 entertaining games waiting to be discovered each day. The game locations are situated on tables, on the ground, on walls, on stairs, in the park, and in front of buildings, shops and restaurants near Burgdorf’s sights, inviting visitors to play and enjoy themselves. Visitors can rent their “Play your way around Burgdorf rucksack” – which includes a games box and rule book with a map of the game locations – from the Tourist Office (Bahnhofstrasse 14) or Chrigubeck, Bäckerei City (the outlet at Lyssachstrasse 13). The games can be played in any quantity or sequence desired.

Play your way around Burgdorf rucksack
- CHF 15.00 Rental fee, games box
When renting the games box, an additional deposit of CHF 50.00 or a form of ID (passport, driving licence) must be submitted.
Once done playing, the rucksack and the games box and games instructions book must be returned. (Please observe the opening times under Availability above) The deposit will then be returned to you. Any missing games items will result in a replacement fee of CHF 5.00 per item.
Prices in CHF incl. VAT / Prices and products subject to alteration
The games are matched to the respective business or surrounding area they have been integrated into. For example:
- A game with pictures at the cinema
- A cake-based game at the bakery
- A duck-based game in the duck park
- Playing on a barrel in front of the wine shop
- Making a tune with marbles at the music school
- At the Hofstattplatz square, a fox and woodpecker battle for victory
