Speedy sleigh rides through the snowy fairytale landscape of the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch
The Rossweid toboggan run is a highlight in the Sörenberg winter sports region, especially for families with small children. The slope starts off a little less steep, but is all the more panoramic. Then it gets faster and you cross the beautiful natural landscapes of the biosphere.
Travel comfortably and directly by train without changing trains from Bern and Lucerne to Schüpfheim. Then take the post bus to "Sörenberg, Post".
From Rossweid, there are two varied toboggan runs down into the valley. The faster of the two runs takes you through snow-decked winter landscapes directly to the valley station of the Rossweid gondola lift.
Those who prefer a more leisurely ride will choose the run that goes via the Alphotel & Skihütte Schwand. Once you reach the end of the run, the valley station of the Rossweid gondola lift is just a short walk (approx. 5 minutes) away.
Note
Only Davoser-style toboggans, plastic toboggans, sledges and bobs are permitted on the toboggan run. Airboards and home-built toboggans are strictly prohibited and will not be transported. Dogs are also not legally permitted on the pistes.
