Test runs
You are planning a test run on the infrastructure of BLS Netz AG and would like some basic information about this project. You can get an initial overview here.
In most cases, test runs are required to provide the necessary evidence for the approval of the vehicle. For all journeys not covered by the Implementing Provisions to the Railway Ordinance (IP-RailO), e.g. journeys with excess speed, a permit is required from the infrastructure manager and, depending on the extent of the excess speed, from the FOT.
For test runs on the BLS network, the special regulations must be observed.
