Enjoy the special atmosphere of the historic centre with its seven-cornered fountains, the two town gates and the town hall dating from 1704 and built after the town’s fourth major fire. The public guided tours of the town will take place whatever the weather.
Guests will need to be sure-footed to take part in the climb up the church tower. Reservations are recommended.

Willisau, archaeological treasure trove
The impressive archaeological discoveries of parts of the town walls and the cellar of the Kirchherrenhaus, or patrons’ house, have been preserved in situ and are freely accessible. A large screen shows various short films on the history of Willisau. Open daily from 08.00 to 17.00 hours.
