Experience the Rüttihubelbad Sensorium

The senses: our gateway to the world and to life

At the Rüttihubelbad Sensorium, everything revolves around activating sensory perception. At 80 interactive stations, visitors are playfully engaged in order to hear, see, smell and feel familiar and new things. Sounds, colours, movements, odours, light and darkness astonish visitors and allow them to explore the laws of nature.

Annual exhibition “Sensitive”

From March 3 to December 31, 2021

Sensitive data, an extremely sensitive person, a sensitive subject - what exactly does SENSIBLE mean? Sensitive, squeamish and hypersensitive or simply sensitive? Our senses are more or less sensitive, depending on how much we use them. In a rapidly digitalized world, the rediscovery and development of our senses, which are often one-sided or underused, gain great importance; the sensitivity of the senses is important for orientation, our own body perception and social relationships. Let the interactive stations of the annual exhibition "Sensitive" challenge your senses - Am I sensitive? Can I perceive in a differentiated way? How do I react to the signals of my senses? With what do I perceive? Does something require particular care or concentration? How do I deal with things and people?

  • Picnic area within the Sensorium
  • Restaurant/terrace with wonderful views
