Experience the Rüttihubelbad Sensorium
The senses: our gateway to the world and to life
At the Rüttihubelbad Sensorium, everything revolves around activating sensory perception. At 80 interactive stations, visitors are playfully engaged in order to hear, see, smell and feel familiar and new things. Annual exhibition “Experience colour!”
From 12 February to 31 December 2022
Optical stimuli influence us from the moment we wake up until the moment we go to sleep, mostly unconsciously - our lives and actions depend to a large extent on our sense of sight and colours play a central role in this. However, seeing is individual and colour is a subjective impression - who knows how another person sees a colour and what they feel about it? Or can colour even be perceived with other senses?
In addition to the emotional and intuitive experience of 'colour', light and darkness, spectrum and colour mixing, optics, polarisation, physiological colours, 'illusions' and phenomena of our sense of sight are made tangible and plausible in a simple way at numerous interactive stations in the exhibition. Play relaxed with colour and light and discover their connections and interactions!
- Picnic area within the Sensorium
- Restaurant/terrace with wonderful views
