Slopes & facilities
Around 200 groomed slopes in six sub-areas make Adelboden-Lenk one of the most diverse ski regions in the Bernese Oberland. From enjoyable carving slopes to challenging descents.
What skiers and snowboarders can expect:
- Huge selection: almost 200 km of slopes and 63 modern mountain railways and lifts
- World Cup feeling: the legendary Chuenisbärgli slope (including adventure/race tracks such as Skimovie time measurement)

Gran Masa Park – freestyle hub at Hahnenmoos
Gran Masta Park is the go-to meeting point for freestylers and anyone working on jumps and rails. With over 30 features, it’s one of Switzerland’s largest and most versatile snowparks. You’ll find it right by the Brenggen ski lift below Hahnenmoos Pass—centrally located in the main Adelboden-Lenk ski area.
Funslope Bühlberg – a playful fun run for everyone
Funslope Bühlberg brings flow and plenty of smiles to the slopes: banked turns, rollers, tunnels and «Slopy», a cheeky companion, add speed and variety. It’s easily reached via the Bühlberg–Hahnenmoos chairlift in the main Adelboden-Lenk ski area.
For the number lovers: locally, it’s described as an 800-metre-long funslope.
Skicross Park Aebi – speed, rollers and banked turns
Skicross Park Aebi is all about rhythm, speed and clean lines: jumps, rollers and spectacular banked turns make it perfect for friendly duels (or chasing your own best time). The park is located on piste no. 67 in the main Adelboden-Lenk ski area.
Cross Park Betelberg – four lines, loads of action
Cross Park Betelberg is located by the Hasler ski lift in the Lenk–Betelberg sector and is known as an action-packed run for the whole family – complete with jumps, rollers and cross-style turns.

In addition to the park, funslope and skicross, the region offers – depending on location – speed/timing tracks, race and themed courses, training playgrounds and photo points: perfect for adding a challenge and a memorable snapshot to your ski day.

Whether it’s the very first turns in the kids’ area or enjoying runs together as a family, the Adelboden-Lenk ski area offers families with children attractive deals, easy-to-reach practice areas and child-friendly infrastructure.
KidsFree – children ski for free on Saturdays
A real bonus for the family budget: every Saturday, per adult with a 1-day ski pass, up to two children (ages 6–15) ski for free. The offer is valid when accompanied by an adult with a 1-day ski pass and is available directly on site.
Kinderland Stoss & Swiss Snow Kids Village – perfect for first turns
In the Lenk–Betelberg area, Kinderland Stoss provides ideal terrain for beginners. At the Swiss Snow Kids Village, conveyor belts/magic carpets and child-friendly facilities help children progress quickly.
Childcare «Alphüttli»: time for parents – fun for kids
At the Alphüttli on Betelberg, children can be looked after all day or by the hour—with games, crafts and lots of variety.
Family experience runs – Vogellisi & Globi
- Vogellisi Piste (Hahnenmoos–Geils / main Adelboden ski area): a technically easy family route with eight fun elements—ideal for playful runs together (ski or snowboard).
- Globi Fun Trail (Adelboden–Engstligenalp): an experience trail with fun features awaits the whole family—Globi adds extra motivation for the kids.

Culinary delights and enjoyment are guaranteed
In the Adelboden-Lenk ski area, enjoyment is just as much a part of the experience as the views: from cozy mountain restaurants and huts to sun terraces right on the slopes, you will find numerous places to stop for refreshments.
Swiss classics and pure hospitality are served up on your plate – for example, at the Sillerenbühl restaurant with its down-to-earth cuisine and large terrace.
How to get there
Arrival Adelboden to the valley station of the Sillerenbahn (Main ski area of Adelboden-Lenk)
Travel from Frutigen with the bus no. 230 towards Adelboden (exit «Adelboden, Mineralquelle»).Getting to Lenk and the Stand-Xpress Metsch valley station (main ski area of Adelboden-Lenk)
Travel to Lenk railway station. From there, take bus no. 284 to «Lenk, Metschbahnen».
Getting to Lenk for the Betelberg ski area
Travel to Lenk train station. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to the Lenk-Betelberg valley station, or you can take the regular ski bus to the Betelberg valley station.
Getting to the Elsigen-Metsch, Engstligenalp, and Tschentenalp ski areas
