Wool carding mill in Huttwil
See and experience wool being processed – from the sheep to the finished garment
On the idyllic farm that is home to the Huttwil showpiece wool carding mill, you can discover and find out all about the process of preparing wool. You can also go and see the various breeds of sheep, llamas, alpacas, camels and woolly pigs on the farm, so there is plenty of fun on offer for visitors of all ages. In the mill buildings, you can follow the wool’s journey from the animals right through to the shop. There is a wide range of items for sale here, including bedding, slippers, clothing, knitting wool, rugs, spinning wheels and weaving looms. Tours are available for groups with advance booking.

How to get there
Travel comfortably by train to Huttwil.
Then you can take the bus to the bus stop "Huttwil, Fiechten". From there it takes about 6 minutes by foot.
Or you can take the bus to the bus stop "Huttwil, Schwarzenbach". From there it takes about 7 minutes by foot.
From Huttwil train station you can reach Spycher-Handwerk AG also in about 20 minutes by foot.
