Guided snow shoe tour on the Niederhorn
Enjoy the incomparable evening mood in beautiful natural surroundings when you take a snow shoe tour with other snow shoe enthusiasts
A guide will accompany you every Friday and Saturday evening on a snow shoe tour, lasting approximately two hours, through the wintry countryside on the Niederhorn. After that, you can enjoy a delicious fondue with local mountain cheese in the Bärgrestaurant Vorsass.

Tour
Snow shoe tour with guide, snow shoes and poles are provided, break with mulled wine, dinner after the tour in the Bärgrestaurant Vorsass.
Stylish headlamps to improve visibility during the tour are available at the Beatenbucht or Beatenberg valley stations.
Tour starting point
The Niederhornbahn takes you up comfortably to the Vorsass middle station. From there, it's just a few minutes to the Bärgrestaurant Vorsass – the starting point for your show shoe tour and also the place where you can get all the equipment you need (snow shoes and poles). The tour begins after everyone's set up and ready to go.
Group size
Guided snow shoe tours are conducted with groups of 12 or more. However, you can also register for a tour with a smaller group.
You will receive a phone call sometime after 16.00 hours if weather conditions are uncertain or if an insufficient number of people have registered for a tour.

The Bärgrestaurant Vorsass is happy to take your reservation up to three days in advance, either by telephone or e-mail.

How to get there
Or by boat from Interlaken West, Thun or another landing stage across Lake Thun to "Beatenbucht".
The funicular and group orbital railroad will then take you up to the Niederhorn.
