Encountering the mountain landscape up close

Accompany a mountain farmer through the World Heritage Site and experience tradition, culture and tourism.

Together with your school class or group, you can accompany André Summermatter on an excursion to Belalp or Mund and there witness the traditional as well as modern three-step cultivation system of the steep mountain slopes. Along the way, you will learn interesting things about blacknose sheep, Suonen waterways, cultivating saffron and the importance of the mountain landscape for nature, culture and tourism. Immerse yourself in the fascinating, centuries-old cultural landscape in the Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site.
