RailAdventure is the new city adventure from AdventureRooms. Teams compete against each other, complete missions and chase each other across the city in an urban treasure hunt that’s guaranteed to deliver exciting discoveries and surprises – perfect for friends, clubs and team-building events. The game encourages teamwork, creativity and tactical thinking.

Thun: Book a start time

Your adventure begins near the train station in Bern or Thun. After a brief introduction, you’ll be split into teams, given your detective kit – and off you go. The aim is clear: Collect points, complete missions and stay one step ahead of the other teams!

Your smartphone will be your control centre, helping you navigate, plan tactically, and capitalise on opportunities. Then the hunt begins. The teams try to track each other down and catch one another – if you get caught, you lose valuable time. Trains are more than just a means of transport here: If you use them cleverly, you’ll gain a decisive advantage and discover the city in a whole new way.

To play the game, you will need a smartphone with an internet connection, GPS enabled and WhatsApp installed. During the game, you'll use your smartphone intensively to complete missions and keep track of the game’s progress, so a fully charged battery is essential, and a power bank is recommended. Your GPS location will be active throughout the game and visible to all other players. Communication during the game takes place via WhatsApp. The game lasts around 3.5 hours (approx. 15 minutes for the introduction, 3 hours of active playing time, and 15 minutes for the prize-giving). Who is this experience suitable for?

RailAdventure is ideal for groups of all kinds, whether friends, clubs or company teams. The combination of fun, competition and exploring the city makes RailAdventure a varied activity for anyone who enjoys being out and about and loves a challenge. The game requires a normal level of fitness – you should be able to walk long distances and climb stairs without any difficulty.
