Yeehaw in the mountains! At the Kandertal Country Festival 2026, the Bahnhofmatte in Kandersteg will once again be transformed into an atmospheric Western village with live country music, line dancing, festival atmosphere, and a fantastic mountain backdrop from 14 to 16 August 2026. Look forward to a varied weekend with concerts in the festival tent, line dancing sessions, workshops, a family program on Sunday, and genuine Western charm in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. Whether you're a die-hard country fan or a curious festival visitor, the Kandertal Country Festival in Kandersteg is a summer highlight for cowgirls, cowboys, and anyone who loves good music and a great atmosphere.

Travel comfortably by train to Kandersteg. The festival takes place right next to the train station.

Live concerts in the festival tent on Friday and Saturday (including Heinz Flückiger, Buddy Dee, Swiss Highwaymen, Nashville Rebels, Aaron Goodvin)
Dolli country music in the Western village on all 3 days

Tickets

There are day passes, combination tickets (2 days / 3 days) and Sunday tickets including brunch; plus VIP upgrades (Fri/Sat).
Please note: Seating is limited
Children up to 6 years old: free (when accompanied by an adult)
Children/young people aged 7–15: 50% discount on concert tickets
Groups of 10 or more (line dance clubs/associations): 10% discount

Kandersteg and the surrounding area offer a range of hotels; August is peak season → early booking recommended.
