GoldenPass Cheese Train Montreux–Château-d’Œx
An excursion into the heart of a Swiss tradition
Climb on board and join us on this guided tour. The panoramic or Belle Époque train takes you from Montreux or Zweisimmen to Château-d’Oex. In “Le Chalet” you have the chance to watch the cheesemaker making cheese in the traditional way and then you can enjoy a delicious fondue. In the afternoon, you can admire the treasures of local craftsmanship and the art of paper cutting at the Musée du Pays-d'Enhaut.
Programm
The panoramic or Belle Époque train will carry you from Montreux or Zweisimmen to Château-d’Oex.
Enjoy the comfort and the wonderful view from MOB’s GoldenPass to Château-d’Oex.
Demonstration of traditional cheesemaking in the “Le Chalet” restaurant
The staff at the “Le Chalet” restaurant will initiate you into the secrets of Alpine cheese production. You will then enjoy a hearty cheese fondue at the restaurant.
Visit to the Musée du Pays-d’Enhaut
Return travel from Château-d’Oex to Montreux or Zweisimmen

The cheese train can be booked online via the MOB webshop or at the ticket office in Montreux, Gstaad and Zweisimmen.
