Notes

The “Key to the Alps” World Heritage Walk comprises 15 stages and is based on the walking guidebook of the same name. A stamp can be collected at a specific location at the end of each stage. As soon as all 15 stages are completed, walkers will receive the key to the Alps and a gift at the World Nature Forum in Naters, which is the new visitor centre for the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

All information for getting to the various starting points of the different stages is available from the UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch Management Centre.

On request, the Management Centre also offers the stages as a bookable package that includes luggage transport, accommodation and public-transport tickets. The stages can be tailored to individual requirements.
