Aeschi panoramic walk
Circular trail high above Lake Thun
The well-signposted walk leads from Aeschi to Aeschiried and Seenegg, and offers spectacular views of Kandertal and the mountain scenery. Here you will also find a lama and alpaca farm. The giant pyramid that is Mt. Niesen towers above you as you recharge your batteries at the restaurant before the descent. Also an ideal walk for children.

The postbus lines 61, 62 e 66 run from Spiez to Aeschi.

The hiking trail can be followed free of charge.
The postbus will take you from Spiez to the village of Aeschi, the starting point of this circular walk with splendid views. Follow the walking trail to Aeschiried. Leave the indoor pool behind you and walk a short way along the road towards Mülenen. Now turn off left. After a short ascent, you will arrive in Seenegg, where you can enjoy spectacular views of Kandertal and the mountain scenery. Here you will also find a lama and alpaca farm, one of the most important breeding operations for these animals in Europe. Soon after, you will reach Aeschiried. Take a break at the Restaurant Panorama before resuming your walk.
The trail leads downwards slightly, and you will have a fantastic view of Lake Thun. To your left, the mighty pyramid of Mt. Niesen looms. Once back in Aeschi, you can quench your thirst at one of the restaurants or relax in the new wellness area of the indoor pool. The postbus will conveniently take you back to Spiez.
