Every day, 3.9 million litres of warm (51 degrees) thermal water bubbles into the pools of the largest thermal springs in Switzerland at Leukerbad. This means that Leukerbad has the richest thermal water deposits in the whole of Europe. As early as Roman times, many people visited the famous Swiss thermal springs. The healing effect of the Swiss alpine thermal bath has been famous throughout history, far beyond the country’s borders. Nowadays, the baths offer a Champagne breakfast, Aqua Mystica, the Roman-Irish night and moonlight bathing.

Leukerbad Therme
Leukerbad Therme is the largest thermal bath facility in the Alps. You will be spoilt at this informal oasis with a total of ten different thermal spring pools, including a thermal pool for children, slides, underwater massages, jacuzzis, a sauna, Kneipp Kur with foot baths and a sports pool.
Walliser Alpentherme & Spa Leukerbad
At the Walliser Alpentherme & Spa, along with indoor and outdoor thermal pools, a Valais sauna village as well as a Roman-Irish bath tempt you into a sophisticated bathing culture.
Therme 51
There is a further public thermal bath at Therme 51 Kur und Ferienhaus. You can find private thermal baths in a range of 4* and 5* hotels.
Hiking & skiing
The thermal bath and wellness holiday destination Leukerbad lies at the foot of the Torrenthorn and the Gemmi Pass. Leukerbad is also used as a starting point for different hikes, for example over the Gemmi Pass to Kandersteg or for wonderful ski days in the region of Torrent.
