Visperterminen – Europe’s highest vineyard

The trail to Heida wine – the pearl of the Alps

A short bus ride takes you to the start of the educational wine trail. Information boards provide lots of interesting facts on local viticulture. The trail leads past drystone walls and up to the St. Jodern wine cellar. Here you can taste wine including Heida, along with culinary specialities. The bus will now take you directly back to Visperterminen, just in time for lunch. To aid digestion, we recommend a circular walk along the Beitra suone, offering views out onto the Matterhorn and Bietschhorn.
