Sie können in Murten einsteigen und gegenüber im Vully aussteigen (oder umgekehrt). Bons aus dem Genussbüchlein können Sie auch direkt auf dem Schiff einlösen. Notes
Route
The beautiful cycling trail around Lake Murten is approx. 28 km in length and is signposted with the numbers 44, 59 and 480 (Murten–Avenches–Mont Vully–Murten) by SwitzerlandMobility. You can also just ride a section of the route.
A stop in Murten
During your “Culinary tour around Lake Murten”, you should definitely make an extended stop in the medieval town of Murten. There are picturesque avenues, flower-bedecked houses and romantic arcades for you to discover. The impressive town wall is freely accessible and is unique in Switzerland. It offers amazing views out across the roofs of the town, Lake Murten and the adjacent wine-growing region of Vully, which produces wonderfully fruity wines. You can then indulge in a creamy slice of Murten Nidelkuchen (cream cake) on one of the beautiful terraces beneath the arcades, or take your cake with you and cycle down to the lake. In this idyllic atmosphere, you can then savour this deliciously light Murten speciality while dangling your bare feet into refreshing waters of the lake – a holiday atmosphere is guaranteed!
Round trip by boat
You don't want to cycle all around the lake? Hop on board one of the cruises organised by the Lake Neuchâtel and Murten Navigation Company (LNM) and discover the region from the deck of the boat. You can get on in Murten and get off opposite in Vully (or vice versa). You can also redeem vouchers from the Genussbüchlein directly on the boat. We recommend that you book a table in advance with the LNM.
Restaurants, tea rooms and bakeries
You are spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding which of the many restaurants and bakeries to redeem your culinary booklet vouchers at.
The team at Murten Tourism and Vully Tourisme will be happy to advise you, or you can plan your culinary tour yourself online.
Bike hire
You can hire a bike from Rent a Bike directly by Murten Railway Station.
Velo-Miete
Die Velos und E-Bikes können direkt am Bahnhof Murten bei Rent a Bike gemietet werden. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, das Velo vorgängig über das Buchungstool zu reservieren.
