Snow shoe trail on the Grimmialp
Through snowy Alpine meadows in the Diemtigtal Nature Park with snow shoes. Who will be the first to see an Alpine ibex?
The trail begins at the Senggiweid car park and then ascends slightly as you make your way up to the area that's home to the “Grimmimutz” forest creature from the famous children's story. After passing Nidegg, the route goes through the Nideggwald forest to the wildlife watching station, where you can learn some exciting things about wildlife in the area and also use the telescope at the station to observe an ibex colony. The descent then leads down through the meadows of Nidegg and back to the starting point. Here, the view of the valley provides a fitting end to your tour.
