Gurten - Downhill Mountainbike
Downhilll pleasure close to the city
Smooth line, raised curves and ten-metre jumps (which can be bypassed). Downhill enthusiasts will find an ideal 2 km long course on the Gurten, with a height difference of 270 m.
The Gurten funicular takes you to the starting point in a relaxed way. Public transport tickets are valid for people, but you will need to buy a special card for the transport of bicycles.
A washing station is installed at the end of the track and is available free of charge to Grutenbahn customers. In the parking lot, 20 lockers are also available to all downhill lovers.

Bike transport
For bicycle transport, you must buy a multi-trip ticket worth Fr. 45.- that allows you to carry your bike 20 times. The card is available at the Gurten Funicular Cashier and can be used by the holder alone and those accompanying him.

Gurten funicular
The Gurten funicular runs every day from 7:00 am to 23.45 pm (sunday to 8:15 pm) and takes you in a few minutes from Wabern to the top of the Gurten. The general subscription and the Libero zone 100/101 season ticket are valid. Tickets can also be purchased via the BLS online timetable and via the BLS Mobil App, as well as at all stations in Switzerland.
