Go exploring with Saani

Saani, the cheeky Saanen goat, takes the whole family on a journey of discovery through Destination Gstaad. There’s a lot to discover here: new adventure trails, great mountain playgrounds on Rinderberg and Wispile, and the indoor adventure world at Station Saanen – boredom has been banished in Saaniland.

Travel comfortably with the BLS to Zweisimmen. From there, continue by cable car to the Rinderberg or continue by train to Gstaad, Saanen or Saanemöser.

You haven't seen a playground like this before! Integrated into a special adventure playground is a petting zoo with all of Saani's companions. They love romping and climbing just as much as the little ones among us. That's why they feel right at home on the playground with slides, climbing elements, water games and lots of quiet zones.

Indoor experience at the Rinderberg "Olgas Kuhstall" (Olga's cowshed)

Discover the new indoor experience "Olgas Kuhstall" at the Rinderberg. Here everything revolves around the theme of stables and cattle. Whether it's milking cows, the egg ball track or the bell game. The indoor experience is the ideal bad-weather programme or can be combined with the Rinderberg-Horneggli family hike on nice days.

Other playgrounds can be found in many different places in the destination.

With the Saani Playground Pass, families can access the playground on the Wispile or the indoor experience on the Rinderberg at good conditions.

Fun on a scooter in Saaniland

The wind whizzes around your ears and the surroundings whiz by so fast that you almost get dizzy. You can whizz down three mountains in the destination of Gstaad on a scooter. There are scooters for hire on the Wispile, the Rinderberg and the Sparenmoos. Practical, isn't it?

Saani’s adventure trails

Did you think hiking was boring? Then you don't know Saani's experience trails! On the path "Saani's sound experiences" you listen to different sounds and noises. If you listen carefully, you might even hear animal voices or music coming from tree trunks. On the "Saani's Mountain Experience" trail, fitness and coordination are trained at 17 stations. Balancing and climbing are practised. At the various stations you can learn interesting facts about plants, animals and the moor. I wonder who all lives here?

Station Saanen

The "Station" is a world for working and trying things out. Here, for example, there is an exciting machine room with a fascinating tangle of ropes, cogwheels, cranks and ball tracks and of course much more.

With the Saani Playground Pass, families can get to the playgrounds on the Wispile or the Rinderberg at good conditions.

How to get there

Zweisimmen-Rinderberg gondola lift

Travel in comfort by train all the way to Zweisimmen. This is a connection with several train sections and different destinations. When boarding, look for the address on the train. The valley station of the gondola lift is a 5-minute walk from Zweisimmen station.

Travel by train to Zweisimmen. From there you can change trains and travel by train to Saanenmöser.

Gondola lift Gstaad Wispile

Travel by train to Zweisimmen. You can change trains there and travel on by train to Gstaad. The valley station of the gondola lift is a 20-minute walk from Gstaad railway station. You can reach it within 7 minutes by local bus.

Station Saanen

Travel with the BLS to Zweisimmen. You can change trains there and continue your journey to Saanen. From the station, Saanen station can be reached on foot within 6 minutes or by bus (line 180, stop "Oberdorf Saanen").
