La Vue-des-Alpes snowshoe tour
A magical panorama and winter wonderland.
The pass that connects the town of La-Chaux-de-Fonds with Neuchâtel is truly deserving of its name “La Vue des Alpes”. The pass’s highest spot (1,283 metres above sea level) offers unique views in all directions. On a clear day, visitors can enjoy panoramic views stretching from Mount Pilatus to Mont Blanc.
Accessible depending on snow conditions.
The hiking trail can be followed free of charge.
Vue des Alpes–Tête de Ran–Vue des Alpes
From the pass, the five-kilometre-long snowshoe tour leads through beautiful, snow-covered Jura landscapes and via a mountain ridge towards Tête de Ran (1,422 metres above sea level). On the return leg, walkers are rewarded with spectacular, far-ranging views of the landscape and the legendary vista of the Alps. Well worth a visit!
