Starting from the Place de l'Eglise, the highest point in the town, in front of the Tourist Office, this tour, which can be accompanied by an explanatory brochure, reveals many picturesque places and monuments, as well as a few curiosities known only to the town's inhabitants. At the end of the tour, take the time to visit the Roman Museum, well worth the detour! Here, you'll discover many everyday objects from Roman times, as well as archaeological excavations still taking place in Avenches.

The Swiss National Stud
The Swiss National Stud is open all year round and can be visited thanks to a free nature trail. Interested groups of up to 25 people can take part in a guided tour.
