All the features of the BLS Mobile App

You do not need to log in to SwissPass simply to check timetables. To buy tickets and subscribe to push notifications, please log in using your SwissPass credentials. To purchase, renew or view season tickets, you will also need SwissPass Mobile, which you can set up within the app.

Buy new travelcards directly in the app, renew existing ones and show your public transport travelcards digitally on your smartphone. Available options include the GA, Halbtax, GA-Night and various network travelcards.

Check in, set off, check out: with Check-In, you can travel spontaneously without buying a ticket in advance. The app automatically calculates the best fare for your journeys and charges you directly. Ideal when used in conjunction with Half Fare Travelcard PLUS.

Check connections for the whole of Switzerland directly in the app. With the touch-based timetable, you can search for connections quickly and easily, save your favourites and, depending on the connection, view the train composition and occupancy levels. Using the various filter options, you can select your mode of travel, adjust your changeover time or activate hiking mode.

Enable route alerts to receive push notifications about disruptions, delays and cancellations on your route – even without actively checking the timetable. The route alert also provides information on car transport services, boat services on Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, and buses in the Emmental/Oberaargau region.

Save your frequently used journeys, share connections with your loved ones and, if needed, buy tickets for fellow travellers. You can also add journeys to your calendar.

Pay for your tickets, season tickets and other services using popular payment methods such as Twint, credit card, PostFinance, Reka, Apple Pay, Halbtax PLUS, or with a public transport voucher or prepaid card. The spending summary also lets you see at a glance how much you’ve spent over the year, and you can download or print the overview as a PDF if required.

A light version of the BLS Mobil app is available for the Apple Watch. Among other things, this allows you to use check-in tickets and view information about saved journeys.

BLS Mobil is the only app that also speaks Bernese German. You can change the language at any time in the settings. The following languages are available:
