Drei Informatik-Angestellte der BLS beim Workshop
Working in IT

SAP

SAP consultant

You are familiar with the SAP portfolio and the possibilities that can be implemented with it. BLS uses SAP solutions in capital-intensive areas such as maintenance, BLS network infrastructure and BLS rolling stock. SAP is also the central system used in other BLS business processes, such as HR, finance, controlling, analytics & reporting, procurement and supply chain management. BLS relies fully on SAP and therefore on you!

"The working environment in the SAP department at BLS is very informal. There is always support from the team and trust in the work carried out by the employees. Due to the varied and broad topics, you learn something new every day and so the work never becomes monotonous."

Further development and operation

With your expertise, you can actively shape and continuously develop BLS's business processes and SAP solutions. By providing future-oriented consulting, you will contribute to the further digitalisation, automation and innovation of BLS. You will also ensure the operation of the solutions designed by you.

The system landscape

In maintenance, we rely on mobile solutions based on SAP Fiori. The SAP Geo Enablement Framework helps us locate assets, and with SAP Success Factors we provide the system for modern HR management. SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) form the backbone of the financial planning and reporting. By integrating the HANA Cloud Platform, we connect peripheral systems to our SAP systems. The migration to S/4HANA will modernise the backend of BLS.

Your tasks - varied and exciting

Due to the size of the SAP COE at BLS, SAP consultants at BLS are all-rounders who are happy to help shape and support beyond their module boundaries. Your openness and interdisciplinarity will enable you to make a significant contribution to business process optimisation.

Our team

It's the collaboration that counts: We support each other and are a strong team of specialists. Working when and where required is quite normal for us. The increasingly agile way of working helps us to efficiently achieve common goals. As an SAP consultant, you will work closely with the various departments.
