Open days at Burgdorf depot

On a tour of the BLS Foundation’s historic depot in Burgdorf, you can admire historical locomotives and marvel at antique treasures from BLS’s past in the archives.
Highlights
To celebrate the Central Region’s “175 years of Swiss trains” jubilee weekend, the BLS Foundation’s historic depot is opening its doors to the public. On a self-guided tour, you can admire historical locomotives and discover treasures from the history of BLS in the archive. BLS Foundation staff members will be on hand to answer any questions and provide information throughout the depot. The archive’s rarities shop will also be open.
Refreshments will be provided in the form of a barbecue selling bratwursts and a small range of drinks.
Tip: Good shoes are recommended for the tour.

Take advantage of the jubilee 1-day travel card and travel at reduced prices to the jubilee events. The jubilee 1-day travel card is valid on the chosen day of travel for a return ticket between the place of residence and an official event location, taking the standard route via the GA range of validity.
