The food trail takes you through varied landscapes and interesting places. Longer distances can be travelled by train. Along the way, you will solve puzzles and discover culinary stops where you will be rewarded with delicious food, refreshing drinks and special experiences.

  1. Reserve your start time (in advance) – teams start at 15-minute intervals
  2. Receive your start documents by email – after booking, the documents will be sent directly to you
  3. Arrive and get started – the start is right next to Lyss train station
  4. Solve puzzles, enjoy yourself, move on – on foot and with the included train transfers between stations. 
  5. Return journey from Biel – ideal for ending your trip in a relaxed manner

The start time must be reserved in advance online and paid for by credit card or Twint. Alternatively, reservations can be made at the BLS Travel Centre in Lyss (payment directly on site).

How to get there

Travel in comfort by train to Lyss. The food trail starts right by the train station. The return journey is from Biel.

IMPORTANT: The journey to Lyss is made individually and is not included in the price. However, you do not need a ticket for the train journeys during the food trail – a zone day pass is included in the price.

Are there any closing dates?

Yes. The food trail is closed on the following days:
Easter, Ascension Day, 1 August (Swiss National Day), Assumption of Mary, and during the winter break from 08.12.2026 to 05.01.2027. Subject to change.

Travel to Lyss and the return journey from Biel are individual. Train transfers during the food trail (zone day pass) are included in the price.
