Check in, set off, check out: With Check-In, you can travel throughout Switzerland in complete comfort without having to buy a ticket in advance. The app automatically calculates the best fare for your journeys and charges you for them straight away.
How Check-In Works
- Before your journey, check in via the "Check-In" tab in the BLS Mobil app by swiping from left to right.
- Set off, change transport as often as you like, and check out when you reach your destination. You could travel by train, bus, boat and tram as often as you like.
- Once you’ve checked out, the app calculates the distance you’ve travelled and then books the appropriate ticket for you. It takes your season tickets on the SwissPass into account – such as the Halbtax or your regional network season tickets – and automatically includes connecting tickets as well.
- The fare charged will always be the cheapest ticket available for the journey made. If the total cost of all journeys made in a single day exceeds the price of a day ticket, the lower of the two prices will automatically be charged.
- Check-in also works in conjunction with a Half-Fare PLUS: The Halbtax PLUS can simply be used as a means of payment.
