Companion ticket: travel with a companion and save
From 13 April until 29 May 2026
Enjoy the days of spring with a cosy day out on the train, bus or boat and benefit from our promotional campaign. With the Companion ticket, a companion can travel with a GA travelcard or day pass holder for just 39 francs throughout the entire GA region. The companion can travel in the same class without needing a Half-Fare travelcard.
The following tickets allow the holder to purchase a Companion ticket:
- GA Travelcard

1-month GA Travelcard, 1st and 2nd class
- Day Pass for the Half-Fare Travelcard
- Saver Day Pass
Not valid in conjunction with promotional day passes, Night GA Travelcard, Network Passes (Libero, Passepartout, Frimobil etc.)

To benefit from the Companion ticket, one of you can simply purchase a Saver Day Pass here
Then buy a Saver Day Pass for the first person right here or take advantage of the additional voucher worth CHF 30 to offset against a Half Fare Travelcard. The voucher is only valid for people who do not currently have a Half-Fare travelcard and can be redeemed between 13 April and 29 May 2026 at any staffed public transport point of sale or online.
