Parking Your Bike Safely at the Train Station

Ride your bike to the train station and then continue by train or bus. Many train stations and bus stops have bike parking areas available – some are covered or located in a secure bike station.

Monitored bicycle stations

Monitored bicycle stations are available at the larger railway stations such as Bern, Biel/Bienne, Burgdorf, Lucerne, Lyss, Solothurn and Thun.

These offer protection against theft, poor weather, parking damage and vandalism and are usually subject to a charge. Additional services such as bicycle hire and repairs are also often offered.
