Welcome to Rydell High School – where leather jackets, fast cars and rock ’n’ roll define everyday life. After an unforgettable summer romance, Danny Zuko, leader of the cool Burger Palace Boys, unexpectedly meets the shy Sandy again at the same school. But school life brings challenges: between peer pressure, coolness and different expectations, their love is put to the test.

While Danny tries to appear relaxed and untouchable in front of his friends, Sandy searches for her place in the new world of Rydell High. The Burger Palace Boys and the confident Pink Ladies around Rizzo bring both support and chaos. Together, they create unforgettable moments filled with parties, dancing, humour and plenty of drama.

Information on whether a performance will go ahead in poor weather can be obtained from 13.00 hours (or for matinees from 06.00 hours) on the day of the performance by:

• Checking the information box on the home page of the Lake Thun Festival
• Calling telephone number 1600 and selecting “info box” 81076, (CHF 0.50 per call and per minute)
• Sending a text message with the words “seespiele” to 1600 (CHF 0.80 per text)
• Downloading the “Wetter-Alarm” app, and adding “Thunerseespiele” (Lake Thun Festival) as a favourite
