Just a few simple steps to buy your ticket
Our ticket machines are easy to use thanks to their touchscreen interface and also enable cashless payments. You can buy tickets to approximately 1600 destinations within Switzerland.

Purchasing and renewing monthly season tickets
Even as the holder of a monthly season ticket for the Libero, Passepartout, Frimobil, BeoAbo or Onde Verte regional fare networks, you don’t need to queue at the ticket counter. Instead, you can purchase and renew your season ticket at the ticket machine in just a few steps. To buy a season ticket for the first time, you simply need to enter the public transport basic card number (ABC123). Renewals can even be carried out in just a few steps without the public transport basic card.

At the ticket machine, you can upload telephone credits for the following providers:

Kindly note that the machines cannot usually issue more than CHF 19.90 in change.
Stations without a ticket machine
At the following stations tickets cannot be purchased as there is neither a ticket office nor ticket machine available.

* From these stations, you can buy your ticket (without surcharge) directly on the train, provided you proactively report to the attendant on the platform/boarding. Payment can be made in cash (CHF or Euro notes) and with standard payment cards or by Reka Rail or Reka-Check. If you regularly travel on the same route, we would recommend that you purchase a multiple-journey ticket.
What should you do if you cannot buy a ticket on board the train?
In such cases, we would request that you purchase your ticket after your journey at the station where you have got off the train.
