Together with our partners, we seek to establish high-quality cooperative relationships that benefit all involved parties. Here, we focus primarily on long-term cultural and sport partnerships in locations within the BLS network. We love special ideas, stories and experiences that create lasting memories for your customers and ours, and for visitors and guests.
As a public institution, BLS is not allowed to conduct financial sponsorship activities. Nevertheless, we are the ideal partner when it comes to mobility and ticketing solutions for major events. Within the framework of an exchange of services, we can offer access to our very attractive communication platforms in numerous Travel Centres and points of sale, as well as in our trains, which transport more than 150,000 passengers per day, and via our online channels.

BLS and Swiss Volley extend their partnership
BLS to remain Leading Partner of the Swiss Volleyball and Beach Volleyball Federation until 2024. Both companies move people – BLS as a provider of mobility services and Swiss Volley through its tournaments and championships. Swiss Volley CEO Werner Augsburger is convinced that the staging of sports events in BLS's far-reaching mobility and communication network will make volleyball – the second-biggest team sport in Switzerland – even more popular and well known on a regional and national level.
As part of its partnership with Swiss Volley, BLS also works closely with the organisers of various volleyball events in locations within the BLS network: Swiss Volley Supercup, Mobiliar Volley Cup Final, Junior Beachtour, Swatch Beach Pro Gstaad and Swiss Championchips at Bundesplatz Bern.

Interreg
Thanks to the partnership with Interreg
As part of the Interreg-V-A Italy-Switzerland cooperation programme, various promotional activities for the Lötschberger/Trenino Verde delle Alpi as well as several timetable displays for the car trains in Brig and Iselle were implemented with the “TVA” project – financed by the Swiss Confederation and the Canton of Valais, the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the State of Italy.
The Interreg Europe cooperation programme is aimed at promoting international collaboration between EU member states and neighbouring non-EU countries.
BLS is involved in the project “TVA”: Il Trenino Verde delle Alpi motore della mobilità ecologica tra l'Ossola e il Vallese – meaning the Lötschberger region as a motor of ecological mobility between Ossola and Valais. The overarching goal of this project is better access and integration of transport chains and to increase the attractiveness of public transport for more sustainable mobility.
