Partnerships and sponsorship
BLS is an SCB Gold Sponsor and a Leading Partner of Swiss Volley
We shape mobility by moving people, enthusiastically supporting them and enabling them to have unique experiences. BLS connects people and organisations, towns and regions and cities and the countryside. Responsible, regionally anchored and passionate – we bring these exact values to life in our sponsorship activities as well. Together with our partners, we seek to establish high-quality cooperative relationships that benefit all involved parties. Here, we focus primarily on long-term cultural and sport partnerships in locations within the BLS network. We love special ideas, stories and experiences that create lasting memories for your customers and ours, and for visitors and guests.
As a public institution, BLS is not allowed to conduct financial sponsorship activities. Nevertheless, we are the ideal partner when it comes to mobility and ticketing solutions for major events. Within the framework of an exchange of services, we can offer access to our very attractive communication platforms in more than 30 Travel Centres and points of sale, as well as in our trains, which transport more than 150,000 passengers per day, and via our online channels.
We look forward to hearing your ideas should you decide to join us in a partnership filled with emotion and exciting stories.
BLS has been a Leading Partner of Swiss Volley since the beginning of 2016
Both companies move people – BLS as a provider of mobility services and Swiss Volley through its tournaments and championships. Swiss Volley CEO Werner Augsburger is convinced that the staging of sports events in BLS's far-reaching mobility and communication network will make volleyball – the second-biggest team sport in Switzerland – even more popular and well known on a regional and national level.
As part of its partnership with Swiss Volley, BLS also works closely with the organisers of various volleyball events in locations within the BLS network. The events supported in the first year of the partnership were the Cornèrcard Volley Cup Final in Fribourg, the Under 21 Beach Volleyball World Championships in Lucerne, the Beach Volleyball European Championships in Biel, the Swatch Beach Volleyball Major Series in Gstaad and the Coop Beach Tour Swiss Championships at Bundesplatz in Bern.
