Ascension Day, 9 May 2013, also coincides with the start of the summer season on the two Bernese Oberland lakes. In addition to the hourly cruises departing from Thun, the popular Sunset Cruise departing from Interlaken West will also start operating again. For the time being, five daily cruises will run on Lake Brienz. In July and August, a new hourly interval will be introduced. » more

The two lake steamers "Blümlisalp" and "Lötschberg" will also start operating from Ascension Day. The lake steamer "Blümlisalp" will run daily on Lake Thun until 13 October. For the time being, the lake steamer "Lötschberg" will operate on Lake Brienz at weekends and on public holidays. From 15 June to 15 September, it will run daily. » more

The paddle steamer "Blümlisalp" now operates as the Niederhorn Express in the morning on Sundays and public holidays. Take advantage of the "express cruise" and enjoy a delicious breakfast on board.
