Kandersteg/Kiental Tobogganing Fun

The most terrific tobogganing runs in the Bernese Oberland

Whether a gentle toboggan run from Ramslauenen to Kiental or a high speed descent from Oeschinensee to Kandersteg – you’ll be spoilt for choice. Both toboggan runs lead through fascinating winter scenery, surrounded by high, snow-covered mountain peaks. Take advantage of the easy accessibility on the Lötschberger train and allow yourself to be spoilt in the cosy mountain restaurants. Enjoy a break in the enchanting winter landscape, far away from
the hustle and bustle.
Tip: those arriving by public transport benefit from a 10% discount on the all-day tobogganing pass.

When

Cable car Kandersteg–Oeschinensee: 15.12.2012–24.03.2013: 9.00–17.00 Uhr (last gondola at 16.50 hours).

Kiental-Ramslauenen chairlift: 22.12.2012–17.03.2013, 09.00 to 16:15 hours. In case of good snow conditions, operations will start on the preceding weekends in December.

Journey

To Reichenbach i.K. by train, by post coach to the Kiental, Ramslauenen terminus, then a short walk to the lower terminus of the Ramslauenen chairlift or by train to Kandersteg, followed by 10 minutes’ walk to the Oeschinensee gondola cableway.
