Gstaad Mountain Rides offers winter sports enthusiasts an extensive skiing
region
from Zweisimmen up to Glacier 3000. Thanks to the direct rail connection
at the valley station in Zweisimmen, winter sports fans can get to the largest
skiing
area in the region in no time at all. More than 60 lifts take aficionados,
carvers
and snowboarders to the 250 kilometres of pistes in the midst of a
fascinating
mountain landscape with cosy chalet-style villages where lifestyle is
as important as ancient customs.
The journey to the Gstaad Mountain Rides ski area will be an experience in its own right thanks to the cult WHITE BULL POWERED BY BLS & GSTAAD MOUNTAIN RIDES snow train! From 13 December 2009 until 5 April 2010, the snow train will run from Bern Main Station to Zweisimmen directly to the Rinderberg valley station. Enjoy a trendy "plan b" product from Coop in one of the snug furry seats. You can swap the Snow'n'Rail voucher in the sow train, saving the need to queue for your ski pass at the valley station. The winter landscape flashing by gets you in the mood for the slopes. Relax on the train ride to the home of the WHITE BULL POWERED BY BLS & GSTAAD MOUNTAIN RIDES – guaranteed to dodge the traffic jams.
