The Lötschberger

With the Lötschberger through the winter wonderland

Along the Bern-Brig and Spiez-Zweisimmen routes you will discover a great deal of unspoilt nature and almost limitless opportunities for outings. Board the RegioExpress (RE) Lötschberger excursion train and explore a very special part of Switzerland.
In the Lötschberger region, there is a great deal to discover and experience with friends and family. Whether you go tobogganing, winter hiking, skiing or snowboarding, or whether you go swimming or enjoy a train journey with the most beautiful views – it’s entirely up to you!

From 11 December 2011, the RE Lötschberger excursion train will now take you directly from Berne to Brig or Zweisimmen once an hour. In Spiez, the train will be separated. After a brief stop, the two front trains continue to Frutigen-Kandersteg-Brig, whereas the rear ones proceed in the direction of Zweisimmen. So please make sure that you board the correct part of the train right from the start.
