From Kandersteg to Lake Thun by bike

This wonderful bike tour starts in Kandersteg amid huge mountains and takes you alongside the foaming waters of the Kander river on regional cycle path No. 64 all the way to Lake Thun. Between Kandersteg and Frutigen, there’s a rewarding stop at the heavenly Lake Blausee and an opportunity to visit the Riegelsee Zoo in Kandergrund. From Frutigen, the cycle track, along splendid houses and fragrant meadows, leads you gently up and down to Spiez.

Informations and tips

	Bicycles can be collected from Kandersteg Railway Station daily from 7.15 to 17.00 hours
	Bicycles can be returned to Spiez Railway Station (Mo-Fr 8.00-18.15 hours; Sa-So 09.00-17.30) or Kandersteg Railway Station (daily 07.15-17.00 hours)
	Route: Kandersteg Railway Station–Kandergrund–Frutigen–Reichenbach– Spiez Railway Station
	Length: 30 km, Duration: approx. 2 hours

	Requirements: for experienced cyclists, with some fast descents
