Simmental Building Trail
A journey through the local history of architecture
Proud farmhouses, rock-solid barns and scary wooden bridges: the trail from Boltigen to Wimmis is lined with masterful examples of the carpenter's art and craft. Various trail options – some on asphalt roads with little traffic, others on natural footpaths – also show you less well-known parts of the green Simmen Valley.
